Gio Serrano

Gio Serrano is a seasoned creative professional currently serving as Creative Director at Translation since June 2023 and as a Juror for The Clio Awards and The Webby Awards. Since September 2020, Gio has also been an instructor at the School of Visual Arts, teaching advertising and mentoring students in creative projects. Previous roles include Creative Director at Apple, where Gio played a crucial role in campaigns for Apple TV+, and at R/GA, leading award-winning projects for Verizon. Additional experience includes positions as Creative Hitman at various agencies, Associate Creative Director at VIRTUE Worldwide, Senior Copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi, and Copywriter at Madwell. An alumnus of Columbia University with an MFA in Creative Writing and the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Advertising & Design, Gio's work has been recognized at prestigious awards shows, reflecting a robust career in creative strategy and execution.
