Jaala Alex

Jaala Alex is an experienced professional with a robust background in people and culture, community management, and marketing. Currently serving as Chief People Officer and Head of People & Culture at Thriday, Jaala Alex has also co-founded and advises at The Community Collective since March 2021. Previous roles include Community Manager at Monash Generator, Marketing Officer for the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, and several communication-focused positions across renowned institutions such as the Museum of Brisbane and the Institute of Modern Art. Jaala Alex holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Photography from the Queensland College of Art, earned between 2010 and 2015.
