Tim Burton

Tim Burton is an accomplished facilities management professional with extensive experience in the higher education sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Facilities Management at The Community College of Baltimore County since July 2011, Tim has held several key roles, including Director of Business Services and interim positions in facilities and plant operations. Prior to this, Tim was the Associate Director for Facilities for Housing and Residence Life at George Mason University, overseeing the management of 42 residential facilities for over 5,000 residents. Additional roles include Director of Operations at Emory University, responsible for a comprehensive range of facilities and operational responsibilities across 48 residential facilities, and Director of Business Operations at Wake Forest University, managing housing and business operations for over 3,000 undergraduate students. Tim holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, both from the University of Maryland.
