Director Of Communications at The Conservative Party

Carrie Symonds has extensive experience in political communications, currently serving as Director of Communications for The Conservative Party since June 2017. Previously, Carrie Symonds held the position of Campaign Adviser to Zac Goldsmith during the 2017 General Election, and worked as a Special Adviser to Sajid Javid at the Department for Communities and Local Government and to John Whittingdale at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Carrie Symonds also served as Head of Broadcast and Political Press Adviser for the Conservative Party from 2011 to 2015 and has experience as a Political Press Officer for BackBoris2012. Earlier career roles include Campaign & Marketing Director for Zac Goldsmith MP and various positions in public affairs and marketing communications. Carrie Symonds holds a BA with First Class Honours in Theatre Studies and History of Art from the University of Warwick.
