Neil Shastri-Hurst

Neil Shastri-Hurst is a Medically Qualified Barrister at No5 Barristers' Chambers since September 2019, specializing in Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Regulatory, and Inquest & Coronial Law. In addition, Neil serves as a Panel Chair for the Conservative Party's Disciplinary Sub-Committee and as an Appeals Committee Member for the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. Previously, Neil was a member of the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and undertook various roles within the NHS and the British Army, including an Honorary Consultant Trauma Co-ordinator and Regimental Medical Officer. Neil's education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nottingham and multiple qualifications in law and medicine.
