Stephen Cloonan

Stephen Cloonan is a board member at The Conti Group and has previously held positions at Shaws Department Stores, Simtech Aviation, Bewleys Coffee Ltd, and SunDurance Energy. Stephen became the non-executive chairman of Firstcom in March 2000 and held that position for 17 years until March 2017. In February 2014, they took on the role of non-executive chairman at Simtech Aviation, a Dublin-based training organization for airline personnel and pilots. Stephen held that position for three years until the company was sold to new investors in February 2017. Cloonan has also served as a non-executive director at Bewleys Coffee Ltd from January 2014 to April 2017.

Stephen Cloonan was educated at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, where they qualified as a chartered accountant. Stephen subsequently attended Harvard Business School, where they obtained an OPM 29 degree. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
