Tim Coughlin

Tim Coughlin is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in editorial quality control and copy editing. Currently serving as a Consultant for The Cool Down since June 2023, Coughlin has been with Bleacher Report since August 2008, progressing through various roles. As the Head of Multiplatform Quality Control, Coughlin oversees editorial quality across text, social, and video, ensuring adherence to high standards within a 22-person department. Previous positions include Copy Chief, Manager of Copy Editing, and Staff Editor, reflecting a deep commitment to maintaining superior content standards. Coughlin's early career included stints at The Enterprise of Brockton and The Patriot Ledger. Coughlin holds a BA in Journalism, History, and East Asian Studies from Northeastern University.
