Dmitry Martirosov

Dmitry Martirosov is an experienced journalist specializing in government and politics, currently serving as a Government and Politics Reporter for The Daily Progress & Central Virginia Media Group since January 2025. Prior roles include Assistant City Editor, State Government for Columbia Missourian, where Dmitry reported on state government issues, and a Reporting Intern at Courier Journal, focusing on local government in the Louisville Metro area. Dmitry also has experience as a State Government Reporter at Columbia Missourian, covering the Missouri General Assembly, and as a City/County Government Reporter, focusing on the Columbia City Council. Additional internships include the Lincoln Journal Star and Jefferson City News Tribune, along with a role as Digital Producer at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW.
