Dr. Rumman Chowdhury

Dr. Rumman Chowdhury is an accomplished expert in artificial intelligence, holding significant positions such as Member of the Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, AI Steering Committee Member for the City of New York, and United States Science Envoy for Artificial Intelligence at the U.S. Department of State. As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Humane Intelligence, as well as Chief Scientist at Parity Consulting, Dr. Chowdhury demonstrates a strong leadership role in the intersection of AI and policy. Dr. Chowdhury obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Quantitative Methods from Columbia University.
