Kate Sacco

Kate Sacco has over 18 years of experience in international student services, currently serving as the Director of International Student & Scholar Affairs (ISSA) at the Rhode Island School of Design since April 2017. Sacco progressively advanced through various roles at the institution, starting as an International Student Advisor in June 2007, showcasing leadership by expanding the International Student Services team and overseeing compliance for approximately 1,300 international students. Prior experience includes roles at ELS Language Centers, where Sacco managed F-1 visa compliance, and at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, where responsibilities involved ensuring compliance for the J-1 Trainee Program and facilitating training. Sacco holds a Master's degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and has participated in international educational experiences, strengthening expertise in intercultural dynamics.
