Sangeeta Kaushik

Sangeeta Kaushik serves as the Assistant Director of the Total Workforce Protection Directorate at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, overseeing the integration of medical, health, and safety functions for approximately 240,000 employees. With a background in emergency medicine and public health, Sangeeta has held various academic and clinical roles, including Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University Hospital and Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Prior experience includes serving as an Attending Emergency Physician and a Research Medical Officer for the U.S. Army, where Sangeeta contributed to the Warfighter Physiologic Status Monitor Program and managed clinical care within military settings. Sangeeta holds a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
