Fr Jay Scott Newman

Fr Jay Scott Newman serves as Chancellor and Canonical Counsel at The Diocese of Charleston and holds the position of Pastor at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Additionally, Fr Jay is the President of The Center for Evangelical Catholicism and has experience as an Assistant Professor of Canon Law at The Pontifical College Josephinum. Previous pastoral duties include serving as Pastor at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. Fr Jay holds degrees of STB and JCL from Pontificia Università Gregoriana.
