Katarina Heradstveit

Katarina (Katja) Heradstveit is a seasoned professional in the field of integration and diversity, currently serving as Direktør for samfunnskontakt at Integrerings- og mangfoldsdirektoratet since May 2022. With extensive experience at The Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) from 2005 to present, Katarina has held roles including Director of Communications and Public Relations, Head of Section for Analysis, and Head of Section for Public Interpreting Services, focusing on interpreting services, analysis, research and development, and Nordic cooperation on integration. Prior experience includes working as a senior adviser/project leader and senior adviser at the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) from 1999 to 2005. Katarina holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from the University of Oslo, acquired from 1987 to 1997.
