A third generation participant, Don has been active in the business since joining the firm in 1961. His vision and leadership transformed The Dolben Company, Inc. from a small brokerage, appraisal and management business serving commercial properties in downtown Boston to the regional developer and manager of multifamily communities that it is today. During his career, Don has sponsored numerous real estate transactions. He has been actively involved in the structure of partnerships, joint ventures and the placement of private and institutional investor equity.
Don is a past President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (1976), past Trustee of both Suffolk Franklin Savings Bank and Mutual Savings Bank and is past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Northfield Mount Hermon School. Don is a past Board Member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and past Chairman of its Maine Woods Initiative, a $45 million Capital Campaign. Don holds a B.S. from Tufts University.
