Yvonne Rothermel

Yvonne Rothermel is a Clinical Counseling Supervisor at The Elizabeth Hospice since September 2017, with extensive experience in reproductive psychology, specializing in postpartum mood disorders, infant loss, birth trauma, and infertility as an LCSW in private practice since May 2011. Previous roles include Clinical Supervisor/Counselor for Scripps Health's Bereavement Program, and board member and past education chair for the San Diego Postpartum Health Alliance. Yvonne has contributed as a depression and loss expert on the Preggie Pals Online Radio, providing insights on perinatal loss and mood disorders. With a robust background working with adolescents and adults, Yvonne's earlier positions included clinical social work at San Diego Hospice, various roles addressing adolescent mental health, and training adolescent peer counselors. Yvonne holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from San Diego State University and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
