Leadership Team

The Leadership Team at The Episcopal Church is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and overall administration of the church. This team includes key roles such as the President of the House of Deputies, who provides leadership within the legislative body; the Chief Legal Officer, offering legal guidance and ensuring compliance with church laws; the Chief Docent at St. John's Parish in Hagerstown, Maryland, focusing on education and outreach; the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing day-to-day operations; and the Director of Communications, responsible for managing the church's public relations and internal communications. Together, they work to uphold and advance the mission and values of The Episcopal Church across its various dioceses and congregations worldwide.
