Jeff Buchheit

Jeff Buchheit currently serves as the Executive Director of The Fire Museum of Maryland, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Jeff held the role of Executive Director at Pride of Baltimore, Inc. from February 2019 to December 2024. Jeff's extensive experience includes serving as the Director of Baltimore National Heritage Area for Baltimore City between December 2007 and December 2018, as well as Assistant Director of the Museum Assessment Program at the American Alliance of Museums from May 2000 to November 2007. Jeff began their career as the Director of the National Electronics Museum from January 1993 to May 2000. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Museum Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Miami University. Jeff graduated from Edgewood High School in 1986.
