Joao Vasconcelos

Joao Vasconcelos currently serves as Head of Global Duty Free and Lead Manager for the Ready to Drink (RTD) category at The Fladgate Partnership since July 2022. Previously at Symington Family Estates from April 2007 to March 2022, Joao held the titles of Head of Sales, responsible for the sales team and the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans, as well as Senior Market Manager and Market Manager overseeing key markets including the UK, Ireland, and several others. Joao's earlier experience includes a role as Production and R&D Assistant Manager at Flexipol, where management of production and involvement in R&D and technical-commercial activities were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Porto Business School and degrees in Chemical Engineering and Wine & Spirits, among others.
