Tonya Money

Tonya Money is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in budget and financial administration within Florida's government. Currently serving as the Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Appropriations Committee since September 2017, Tonya Money previously held the role of Deputy Secretary of Operations at the Agency for Health Care Administration, overseeing a budget exceeding $25 billion. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for Elder Affairs, managing a $714 million budget, and as Budget Director for the Florida Department of Revenue, where oversight of a $500 million budget was a key responsibility. Tonya Money holds a Bachelor of Science in Math from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Tallahassee Community College.
