Irma Cedeno Verdon

Irma Cedeno Verdon serves as the Founder and CEO of Diáfano since January 2020, promoting innovative language training methodologies tailored to corporate and employee needs. In addition to leading Diáfano, Irma is a UBS Fellow at The Fourth Effect, an AI-powered investment marketplace established in October 2022. Irma also has experience as a Change Agent Fellow at Black Girl Ventures and has held academic roles as an Adjunct Professor at Berkeley College and New York University. Previous positions include English Instructor with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me), Writer at Reader's Digest Association, and Assistant Editor at Lockwood Publications, among others. Irma's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Fine Arts from New York University, along with studies at Cornell University and University of Oxford.
