Brian Sparks

Brian Sparks is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Superintendent at The Gathering Place since October 2023, where the focus is on supporting staff and fostering an enriching environment for diverse students. Previously, Brian held the position of Deputy Superintendent at The Gathering Place and worked at School Innovation Collaborative as the Director of Culture and Learning and Network Director from June 2021 to October 2023. Brian's extensive background in San Antonio ISD includes roles as Network Principal, Principal, and various positions from Assistant Principal to Instructional Coach and Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master's in School Administration and a Master's of Teaching from Trinity University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from the same institution.
