Brian Stringer

Brian Stringer has extensive experience in gear design and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of North American KISSsoft Sales and Application Engineering at Gleason Corporation & KISSsoft AG since April 2018, focusing on gear and gearbox design, technical sales, and training. Previously, as a Gear & Materials Engineer at Gleason Plastic Gears since September 2011, Brian specialized in the design and manufacturing of high-precision, custom injection molded plastic gears and provided expertise in gear material selection and lubrication. Prior experience includes a role as a Product/Quality Engineer at The Gleason Works from May 2008 to August 2011, where responsibilities encompassed determining manufacturing processes and quality engineering for specialized gear services. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, both obtained from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
