Rod Recker

Rod Recker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, engineering, and technology leadership. Currently serving as an Advisor and CTO & General Manager at The Glimpse Group, Rod focuses on nurturing entrepreneurship within the Virtual and Augmented Reality sectors. Prior roles include Product Management and Engineering Director at Epic Games, where strategic oversight was provided from March 2021 to November 2023, and CEO of Mental Canvas, a software company innovating in graphical media design. Rod's earlier tenure at Autodesk spanned nearly two decades, holding various leadership positions that advanced 3D innovative technologies and agile methodologies. Rod holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Graphics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from Cornell University.
