Kyoka Sasaki

Kyoka Sasaki currently holds the position of Strategic Financial Accelerator in the CFO Office at The Global Fund, starting in November 2024. Prior to this role, Kyoka worked at Morgan Stanley from 2021 to November 2024, focusing on business development within the Securitized Products Group and Fixed Income Division, where responsibilities included expanding sustainable credit and loan businesses and performing due diligence on asset-based lending. Earlier experience includes positions at Goldman Sachs in Foreign Exchange Sales and Trading and Derivatives Sales and Trading, as well as roles at UNESCO and NOAA, contributing to tsunami awareness and educational initiatives. Kyoka's educational background encompasses multiple degrees, including a PhD in Medicine from The University of Tokyo, a Master's degree in International Master in Fragrance Formulations from Università degli Studi di Firenze, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from The University of Tokyo. Additional academic pursuits include a Master's degree in Economics from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and participation in programs at University of California, San Diego and University of Sussex.
