Kristen Peterson

Kristen Peterson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in environmental communications and strategic messaging. Currently serving as Vice President and Environment Sector Lead at The Hatcher Group since March 2016, Kristen manages communications for numerous local and national environmental clients, contributing to a diverse portfolio. Prior to this role, Kristen was the Senior Manager for Strategic Communications at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, where responsibilities included planning and executing informative public communications. Additional experience includes senior communication roles at Stanley Black & Decker, Ascend One, Sun Life Financial, Tufts Health Plan, and Chaney and Associates. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Villanova University and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism/Media Communications from Griffith College.
