Moira Weir

Moira Weir is the Director at The Health Collaborative. Moira has over 25 years of experience in human services administration, including their most recent role as Director of the Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services. In this role, they were responsible for the administration of multiple human services programs with more than 800 employees and a $2.1 billion annual budget.

Weir has received numerous awards and recognitions for their work, including the YWCA Career Woman of Achievement (2016), LEAD Magazine Woman of Influence (2014), Cincinnati Magazine Athena Finalist (2012), and Higher Education Mentoring Initiative named a scholarship in their honor (2013). Moira has also launched several successful media campaigns and partnerships, such as “Choose Your Partner Carefully,” “Do Ask, Do Tell,” Everyday Heroes, Kids in School Rules and the Higher Education Mentoring Initiative (HEMI).

Under their leadership, the Hamilton County Job and Family Services has received awards for 12 different innovative programs from the National Association of Counties. Moira also led the most successful Children’s Services levy campaign in agency history, passing at a record 72% in 2011.

Moira Weir has a Master of Social Work from Bryn Mawr College, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from Simmons University, and a Master of Business Administration from Thomas More University.
