Hamutal Shahar

Hamutal Shahar currently serves as the Programme Director at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 2024. Previous roles include Chief Clinical Officer and Director of Clinical Affairs at VOTIS Subdermal Imaging Technologies, Ltd. from 2021 to 2023, and Chief Executive Officer at JLM-BioCity from 2019 to 2023, where efforts focused on accelerating the biomedical ecosystem of Jerusalem. Additional experience encompasses positions at Curesponse as Director of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs from 2018 to 2022, Senior Manager of Clinical Development & Operations at Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2016 to 2018, Clinical Trial Manager at Brainsway from 2010 to 2016, and lecturer roles at Mayanot Institute and Bar-Ilan University. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neurobiology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, an MSc in Biochemistry with honors from Bar-Ilan University, and a BSc in Biology with honors from the same institution. Moreover, Hamutal Shahar holds certification as a life coach from Kavana College.
