Melanie Lanza, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of External Reporting & Internal Controls at The Honest Company since March 2021, after previously holding the position of Director of SEC Reporting. Prior professional experience includes serving as Vice President and Associate Vice President of Financial Reporting at Ares Management, L.P. from November 2012 to November 2020, and as Director of Financial Reporting at American Media from March 2010 to July 2012. Earlier career experience includes working as an Audit Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young from January 2006 to December 2010. Melanie Lanza holds a Masters of Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Florida Atlantic University.
