Craig Hart is a Power System Analyst and Modeller in the Renewable Integration and Secure Electricity unit at the International Energy Agency (IEA) since February 2018, focusing on the clean energy transition through techno-economic modelling. Prior to this role, Craig served as a Senior PLEXOS Analyst at Energy Exemplar from October 2014 to February 2018, providing technical support in power system dynamics and planning across Africa and Europe. Craig's earlier experience includes working as a Power Systems Studies Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff, conducting power supply and integration analyses, and internships at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and iThemba LABS, where Craig contributed to magnetic field control systems and measurement interfaces for particle accelerators. Craig holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
