Diane Munro

Diane Munro is an accomplished energy editor and analyst with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Energy Editor at the International Energy Agency since November 2020, Diane focuses on global oil markets, energy technology, and sustainability, among other energy-related issues. Previously, Diane held the position of Editor-in-Chief at Argus Media, where editorial operations were enhanced, and managed a global team. Diane also worked as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, specializing in international oil markets and OPEC policies. An extensive career includes roles as an energy analyst and consultant, Senior Oil Market Analyst at the International Energy Agency, and President & Editor-in-Chief of The Oil Daily Co. Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
