Legal Team

About

The Legal Team at the International Legal Foundation is responsible for providing high-quality legal representation to poor, vulnerable, and marginalized individuals in conflict-affected regions such as Afghanistan, Myanmar, Nepal, Tunisia, and the West Bank. This team engages in litigation to defend clients' rights, participates in advocacy efforts to promote the right to counsel, and works on policy reforms aimed at establishing and strengthening public defender offices. Additionally, they offer intensive mentoring to nurture a new generation of defense lawyers and collaborate on international initiatives to standardize and improve legal aid services globally.
