Ciara Sivels

Ciara Sivels is a highly experienced professional in the field of nuclear engineering and nonproliferation. Currently serving as Section Supervisor and Senior Professional Staff at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since November 2018, Ciara Sivels has a strong background that includes an internship at the Consortium for Verification Technology through Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in early 2016, as well as roles as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan and multiple internship positions at PNNL spanning several years. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
