Kavita Braun is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, program management, and analysis. Currently serving as Assistant Program Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since May 2019, Kavita focuses on solving targeting challenges within various mission spaces. Prior roles include Field Representative for Seventh Fleet, Flight Test Mission Planning Engineer, and Test & Evaluation Engineer, contributing to efforts in space domain awareness and integration of advanced imaging technology. Earlier experience encompasses internships at renowned institutions like MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Belcan Engineering, as well as analytical roles with the Office of the Attorney General. Kavita holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University.
