Chris Ross is a senior managing associate in the Washington, DC office of Sidley Austin LLP, where he advises clients on high-stakes, government-facing litigation. His work spans the criminal and civil justice systems, ranging from assisting clients in federal investigations to representing clients in trial and appellate proceedings, including in the United States Supreme Court. Chris is also committed to pro bono practice, with a focus on litigating religious liberty cases. Before joining Sidley, he served as a deputy solicitor general for the State of Ohio and clerked for Judge Alice Batchelder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
