Adrian Gonzalez Lopez

Adrian Gonzalez Lopez is an accomplished professional in the field of infectious diseases and biochemistry, currently serving as the Deputy Editor at The Lancet HIV since June 2023. Prior to this role, Adrian was a Senior Editor at BMC Infectious Diseases from March 2021 to June 2023. At Charité, Adrian held the position of Principal Investigator from January 2014 to February 2021, where a Deutsche Forschung Gemeinschaft grant was awarded to study the effects of lung stretch on brain function. Adrian also contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Delbrueck Center in 2013, focusing on high throughput data analysis. Adrian's academic journey includes a PhD and teaching assistant experience at the University of Oviedo, as well as a research assistant role at the University Institute of Oncology of Asturias. Adrian holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oviedo.
