Julie Stacey

Editor-in-chief Ebiomedicine at The Lancet

Julie Stacey has extensive experience in scientific publishing, currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief of EBioMedicine at The Lancet since July 2014. Previously, Julie held the position of Deputy Editor for Immunity and worked as a Scientific Editor at Cell Press from June 2004 to July 2014. Julie started a career in research as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Rockefeller University from 2000 to 2004. Educationally, Julie earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completing this degree in 2000, and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Bowdoin College.
