Lauren Innis

Lauren Innis is an experienced casting engineer currently working at The Lawton Standard Co. since September 2023, where responsibilities include conducting filling and solidification simulations to verify designs and collaborating with various teams to solve tooling design issues and enhance performance. Prior to this role, Lauren served as a Technical Services Superintendent and Metallurgical Engineer at EJ from April 2020 to September 2023. Key achievements at EJ involved directing continuous improvement initiatives related to casting quality and overseeing the foundry's greensand system. Lauren also gained valuable experience through various internships at EJ and Nucor Corporation, focusing on metallurgy, casting processes, and quality analysis. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
