Georgia Bartels-Newton currently serves as a Pro Bono Specialist at The Legal Aid Society since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Case Manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP from April 2022 to June 2024, and as a Litigation Project Assistant at Sidley Austin LLP from June 2021 to April 2022. Georgia has also contributed to the Urban Institute as a Research Intern, focusing on various justice-related projects, and acted as a Teaching Assistant for a course on Families and Social Inequality at Washington University in St. Louis.
