Mariano Demarin

Mariano Demarin serves as President of Home Port Insurance Group since May 2014, where a dedicated team focuses on providing friendly service and affordable insurance coverage for valued assets. Additionally, Mariano holds the position of EVP Mainstreet Personal Lines at The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, LLC, starting in December 2022. With extensive experience in the mortgage industry, Mariano previously managed the National Sales direction at Carrington Mortgage Services, overseeing P&L and branch operations across multiple states. As the founder of both Colony Title and Escrow, Inc. and Mount Olympus Mortgage Company, Mariano developed successful startups, achieving profitability within their initial years. An accomplished leader, Mariano advanced through various roles at Ameriquest Mortgage Company, eventually overseeing substantial operations and staff. Educational qualifications include a BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami, an MBA in Management from Florida International University, and certifications in leadership from Stanford University and Eckerd College.
