Aleeza Kazmi

Aleeza Kazmi serves as the Digital Content Editor at the Vera Institute of Justice since June 2023 and has been a multifaceted contributor at The Moth since April 2015, taking on roles including Podcast Host, Assistant Producer, Production Intern, and Storyteller. Previously, Aleeza worked at the Center for Reproductive Rights from November 2020 to April 2023, progressing through positions from Digital Coordinator to Digital Manager. Aleeza also produced content for Immigrantly Podcast from September 2021 to September 2022 and held various roles at The Statesman from September 2015 to May 2019, including Multimedia Editor and Staff Writer/Photographer. Additionally, Aleeza gained valuable experience as a Video Production Intern and Press Intern with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2017 and 2018, and completed an Investigative Internship with NBCUniversal Media, LLC in 2016. Aleeza Kazmi earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Stony Brook University in 2019.
