Jeremy Jih

Design Advisor at the museum box

Jeremy is principal at J. Roc Design, a multidisciplinary design practice specializing in architecture that pushes at the boundaries of perception.

Jeremy is currently a Lecturer in architectural design at MIT. He attended the Harvard Graduate School of Design, graduating with a Masters of Architecture in 2012, and was awarded the Faculty Design Award for Design Excellence. He also holds a B.A. in Architectural Studies and Sculpture from Brown University, Magna cum Laude, with Honors, and studied for a year at the Architectural Association in London.

He was the 2014 recipient of the Rotch Traveling Fellow, an endowed scholarship which funds one architect to travel and research architecture around the world for eight months, has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the AIA.

Jeremy has worked for multiple award-winning architecture firms, including Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Howeler+Yoon Architecture, IK Studio, and IwamotoScott. He has experience as a designer, builder, digital fabrication specialist, web designer, sculptor, and metalsmith, and works on projects ranging from furniture/product design and graphic design to architectural design and masterplanning.
