Austin O. is an experienced program manager with a strong background in environmental sustainability and project management in Africa. Currently serving as Program Manager for The Nature Conservancy since July 2022, Austin O. oversees the Africa Forest Carbon Catalyst Program, focusing on the development cycle of natural climate solution projects. Prior roles include Senior Officer for Project Management at the African Wildlife Foundation, where Austin O. coordinated conservation projects across ten countries, and Project Officer for Community Conservation, monitoring community-focused initiatives. Additionally, Austin O. has experience as a Program Assistant with the Lake Victoria Basin Commission, Project Assistant at the National Environment Management Authority, and Project Assistant for Green Impact during early career stages.
