Christa Adkins

Christa Adkins serves as the Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee Member for the Indiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, providing leadership in conservation efforts at multiple levels since July 2013. Between March 2022 and March 2024, Christa held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Legal Officer at Pillar Biosciences, where responsibilities included shaping legal strategy and compliance for a pioneering diagnostics company. Prior to that, Christa operated a legal consulting practice from 2020 to 2022, aiding early-stage companies in various legal matters. Between 2017 and 2020, Christa was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Vibenomics, supporting its growth through innovative legal strategies. Earlier experience includes significant legal roles at Roche from 2003 to 2014, focusing on compliance, ethics, and commercial law. Christa's educational background includes a JD from Indiana University and a BS in Economics from Purdue University, alongside ongoing executive education at Harvard Business School.
