Oliver K. Porter

Oliver K. Porter serves as the Associate Regional Director for The Navigators since 2011, spearheading a collegiate ministry at Wayne State University. As the author and president of Kendall Readings since February 2010, Oliver K. Porter focuses on creating children's books that positively represent people of color. Previous roles include Lead Administrator at Highland Park Community Outreach from 2009 to 2011 and Director at Life Directions from 2005 to 2008, where Oliver K. Porter managed day-to-day operations and collaborated with the Board of Trustees. Earlier in the career, as Youth Program Director at Joy Of Jesus from 2001 to 2003, responsibilities included overseeing operations at the Detroit campus and training staff. Oliver K. Porter holds a Master's degree in Divinity from Ashland University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
