Lonneke van Noije

Lonneke van Noije is a seasoned senior researcher specializing in political legitimacy, currently working at Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau since February 2007. In addition to this role, Lonneke serves as an editor for the Tijdschrift voor sociale wetenschappen published by Amsterdam University Press since February 2015 and was the editor-in-chief of Tijdschrift voor Veiligheid from January 2009 to December 2012. Lonneke earned a PhD in political communication with cum laude honors from VU University Amsterdam in November 2007, focusing on agenda-building relations between parliament and the press across three European countries. Academic credentials include an MA in French language and literature and an MSc in Communication studies from Radboud University, as well as a foundation in law from Open Universiteit.
