Sarah Hardus

Sarah Hardus is a Wetenschappelijk onderzoeker at the Netherlands Institute for Social Research since September 2021. Previously, Sarah held positions as Project- en onderzoeksleider at Wetenschappelijk Bureau GroenLinks and as a Lecturer in International Political Economy and Development at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Sarah has taught various courses related to international development, globalization, and research methodologies. Additional teaching experience includes lecturing and supervising for the Advanced Master in International Development at Radboud University Nijmegen. Sarah has a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, focused on the implications of Chinese financing in Africa, supported by extensive field research in Zambia, Ghana, and Uganda. Sarah's early career includes research roles and project management in international development contexts, supplemented by a robust educational background in Cultural Anthropology and International Development Studies.
