Donald Kemler

Donald Kemler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and project supervision. Currently serving as Senior Operations Manager at The Ocean Cleanup since September 2021, Donald is focused on environmental sustainability by tackling ocean plastic pollution. Prior to this role, Donald held significant positions at Dockwise, including Project Superintendent, where oversight of loading and discharge operations for various marine projects was a key responsibility, and Works Manager, where efforts led to cost-saving innovations in offshore wind turbine cabling. Donald's career began in the US Navy as a Lieutenant, specializing in navigation, operations, and engineering from 1990 to 2004. Donald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Penn State University, earned between 1994 and 1997.
