Bill Couch

Bill Couch currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Federal Relations at The Ohio State University, a position held since April 2014. In this role, Bill collaborates with the Vice President of Government Affairs to shape and advance the university's federal agenda, advocating for higher education and research matters. Previously, Bill worked as the Federal Affairs Coordinator for Miami-Dade County, engaging with various stakeholders to represent the county's interests at the federal level. Bill's career also includes roles as a Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate, Manager at the Public Affairs Council, Administrative Assistant in the City of Gahanna's Mayor's office, and a Corps Member with Americorps - City Year. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Affairs from The Ohio State University, completed in 2006, with a focus on Political Science, Public Affairs, and Philosophy.
