Davita L. Watkins, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University since July 2022, following a similar role at the University of Mississippi from July 2014 to 2022. Watkins' research focuses on the design and synthesis of organic semiconducting materials, including furan-based derivatives and oligothiophene compounds for photovoltaic devices, as well as the characterization of self-assembling Janus dendrimers.
