Ran Hu

Ran Hu is an accomplished academic and social work professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University since December 2023. Previously, Ran held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Gender and Sexual Health Equity from February 2023 to December 2023. Ran's extensive experience includes roles as a Course Instructor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, as well as impact management and program development positions at Restore NYC and Vibrant Communities. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Social Work from the University of Toronto, an MA in International Crime & Justice from John Jay College (CUNY), an MSW in Interpersonal Practice from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Social Work from Nanjing University.
